Behance is the world’s largest platform for creative professionals to showcase and discover work, home to millions of portfolios spanning every discipline. That creative energy lived online, updated by the minute, but it had no presence in the physical spaces where Adobe meets the people who make and value that work every day.

Adobe partnered with Wrecking Ball to change that. We designed and built an immersive touchscreen installation for Adobe’s headquarters lobby and global offices, turning Behance’s live creative feed into an experience visitors could walk up to and explore. It runs on the same interactive installation platform behind our Adobe Patent Innovation wall, proving a single engine could power more than one kind of story.

THE CHALLENGE

Turning an Endless Feed Into a Public Experience

Adobe needed a high-visibility installation for its renovated headquarters that would engage daily visitors and employees while showcasing Behance’s role as the world’s leading creative platform. The tension was real: represent the work of thousands of creatives worldwide, hold Adobe’s brand standards, and stay intuitive across different display configurations, all in a corporate lobby where first impressions carry weight.

We Had to Solve Several Challenges at Once

Volume Without Overwhelm

Thousands of portfolios is a staggering amount of content. It had to feel curated and inviting on approach, not like the entire internet dumped onto a screen.

Zero Learning Curve

A lobby installation gets no onboarding and no instructions. A visitor, recruit, or executive had to understand it and start exploring in seconds.

Always-On Reliability

As a permanent installation running continuously in public space, it had to perform flawlessly across offices in different countries and screen configurations.

THE SOLUTION

One Question That Opened a World of Work

We built the experience around a single prompt, “What Inspires You?”, that invited anyone to start exploring without a menu, a tutorial, or a wrong answer. From that entry point, visitors moved through a living wall of creative work pulled straight from Behance, discovering portfolios, disciplines, and artists from around the globe.

Brand-Aligned Experience Design

We designed a touch-first interface anyone could use on approach, letting visitors browse and discover creative work through an experience tuned to feel unmistakably like Adobe: precise, modern, and quietly impressive. The design put the work first and the interface second.

Real-Time Data Integration

We connected the installation to Behance’s global platform through live data integration, so the wall always reflected the real, current creative community rather than a frozen snapshot. Every session surfaced work that was live on Behance at that moment.

Scalable Multi-Screen Architecture

We engineered the platform for cross-platform compatibility, adapting to any screen size or multi-screen array. The same architecture that ran a single lobby wall scaled to deployments across Adobe offices and educational institutions worldwide.

THE RESULT

From a Feed to a Daily Encounter With Creativity

Behance turned an endless online feed into something people could touch, explore, and be surprised by the moment they walked into the room. Employees, recruits, and visitors encountered the breadth of the global creative community as a physical experience rather than a browser tab.

Its success, alongside the Patent Innovation wall it shares a platform with, reinforced the value of one flexible installation engine Adobe could deploy across offices and institutions worldwide, adapted to different spaces and configurations. It became a standing reminder of what Adobe stands for: the tools, the platform, and the community behind the world’s creative work.

THE RESULT

From a Data Archive to a Daily Expression of Innovation

Adobe had the world’s largest creative community living online and a lobby that said nothing about it. By turning Behance’s live feed into a touchscreen anyone could explore with a single question, we made the global creative world something you could walk up to and feel.

This project exemplifies our approach to experience design and engineering under one roof, where interaction design, real-time data, and enterprise-grade installation run as one engagement built to scale across every office that wanted it.
