James Begera
James is a creative visionary with 25+ years of experience transforming how brands connect with audiences through the strategic integration of emerging technology and human-centered design. As Executive Creative Director and Partner at Wrecking Ball, he specializes in AI-powered creative production, developing systematic methodologies that enable enterprise teams to engineer commercial content with precision and consistency. His approach combines architectural thinking, behavioral insight, and technical mastery to craft brand experiences that resonate at scale.
James’s foundation in architecture, graphic design, and visual arts through his late-90s schooling in Miami provided early exposure to digital design during the dawn of the digital revolution. This architectural training in systematic problem-solving became the cornerstone of his approach to creative production: treating each challenge as an engineering problem requiring repeatable, documented solutions. As a self-taught technology pioneer, James has consistently stayed ahead of digital curves, from early interactive web design to today’s AI-driven creative workflows.
His expansive client portfolio includes Adobe, Citi, Major League Baseball, Ford, Sony Music, and Bacardi, spanning consumer packaged goods, automotive, sports, beverages, spirits, and technology sectors. James’s work has garnered recognition from the Art Directors Club, The Webbies, The FWA, The Addys, and Communication Arts. At the forefront of AI integration in creative processes, James designs and builds end-to-end digital experiences while also developing workshops that help people and teams learn how to use the latest AI tools effectively through structured frameworks like his 4S Method (Scene, Subject, Setting, Style). He produces AI-generated commercial content using integrated workflows across a variety of AI tools and traditional post-production tools. Alexander Sante
SVP Engineering
Alexander Sante is the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Wrecking Ball, where he leads the charge in driving architecture designs for software engineering/data projects and cloud based solutions, optimizing the developer experience (DX). As the key leader in all things DevOps, Alex ensures that the technical foundation and infrastructure align seamlessly with business goals.
With over 11 years at Wrecking Ball, Alexander has been instrumental in shaping the company’s technical vision and delivering scalable solutions that empower the development teams to innovate and excel. His hands-on approach and deep expertise in cloud architecture and DevOps practices make him the go-to lead for solving complex and scalable engineering challenges and ensuring high-quality, efficient software delivery.
Bob Donlon
Senior Vice President, General Manager
With a career spanning the creative and technical sides of digital marketing, content strategy, and video production, Bob is instrumental in helping our clients thrive in the digital age. Based in Wrecking Ball’s Copenhagen office, Bob currently leads operations throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, driving innovation and excellence across diverse markets.
Bob’s leadership is rooted in years of hands-on innovation, highlighted by his role as the Founder and General Manager of Adobe TV, an EMMY winning and Webby nominated platform that redefined video marketing. Conceived and built from the ground up under Bob’s strategic foresight, Adobe TV not only elevated Adobe’s brand presence but also set new standards for video discoverability and community-driven translation.
An an evangelist and thought leader in video and film production, Bob has shared his insights on global stages, speaking at premier events like NAB, the Sundance Film Festival, and IBC. His expertise has made him a sought-after voice in the industry, shaping conversations around digital video and interactive content. He is also the author of Adobe Classroom in a Book for Adobe’s suite of video and audio post-production tools
Bob’s creative spirit extends to music as the founder, bassist, and songwriter for The Rake’s Progress, a rock band that released albums on the Geffen Records label, toured internationally, performed live on NBC and BBC Radio 1.
